This is a recipe for a plain rice noodle roll. It is super fast and easy to make! You can incorporate various ingredients with the wrapper, or use the wrapper and t it dim try sum style with a traditional shrimp or beef filling.

Potato starch
Rice flour (non-glutinous)

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons potato starch
  • 1 cup water
  • Desired filling ingredients (green onion, lapcheng, shrimp, … )

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, starch, and water together to form flour-like liquid.
    Add seasoning to mixture if desired (ie. salt, chicken salt).
  2. Add oil to a non-stick pan and heat on medium high.
  3. Pour a thin layer of flour mixture into the pan. When bubbles form, add in other filling ingredients.
  4. Use spatula and form cooked noodle into a roll.
